Frequently asked questions

Everything about how TradeIQ's engine, bot, brokers and wallet work.

What is TradeIQ?+

TradeIQ is an AI-native trading platform combining a local signal engine (Pulse), a natural-language strategy compiler (Forge), autonomous execution on self-hosted MT5 (Autopilot), real-time risk monitoring (Aegis) and a quant terminal (Tape).

Does TradeIQ use a third-party AI like ChatGPT?+

No. The signal and strategy engines are 100% in-house, deterministic algorithms that run in-process. There is no external AI API key, no per-query cost, and no black box — the logic is auditable and the same inputs always produce the same output.

How do the AI signals work?+

Pulse scans a liquid universe of metals, crypto and FX majors every 15 minutes. For each instrument it computes RSI, an EMA trend stack, MACD, ATR volatility and a mean-reversion z-score, blends them with news and session context into a 0–100 conviction score, and posts BUY/SELL/WATCH calls with entry, stop and target.

Is the trading automated? Can I stay in control?+

Both. You can approve each signal manually, or arm Autopilot to trade autonomously. Either way, every order passes hard pre-trade safety gates and you have a one-tap kill switch that flattens all positions instantly.

Which brokers and platforms are supported?+

TradeIQ connects to MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts. You link a broker with your login, password and server; we provision a dedicated terminal and encrypt your credentials at rest — we never store your password in plain text.

Is my money and data safe?+

TradeIQ never has withdrawal access to your broker — the connection is trade-only. Credentials are encrypted (AWS Secrets Manager), sign-in is handled by a managed identity provider, and autonomous trading is gated to instruments with a validated, backtested edge.

What are the pre-trade safety checks?+

Before any order, Autopilot verifies a news blackout window around high-impact events, healthy margin, the daily-loss cap, the maximum concurrent positions and a hard lot-size limit. If any gate fails, the trade is blocked and logged.

How do deposits and the wallet work?+

The TradeIQ Wallet holds a USDT balance used for subscriptions and copy-trading. You top it up via Binance Pay — scan a QR or open the Binance app, and your balance credits automatically on confirmation.

What is the Q-Score?+

The Q-Score is a single 0–100 read of an instrument's setup quality, blending Pulse's conviction, trend clarity and mean-reversion stretch. It lets you rank the whole market at a glance on the Tape terminal.

Is TradeIQ financial advice?+

No. TradeIQ is an analysis and execution tool. Trading forex, CFDs and crypto carries a high level of risk, past performance does not guarantee future results, and you are responsible for your own decisions.
